E! and Ryan Seacrest Productions are launching a new Reality Show "Bank of Hollywood" which will allow everyday people to beg money from celebrities and rich moguls. The premise of the show is for regular people who are strapped for cash to come up with pitches and convince the panel to why they need the money.
"The idea's simple," Seacrest said. "We are giving away tons of money to everyday people to alleviate the stress of today's climate and have fun."
It seems that reality shows find new ways for everyday people to make complete fools out of themselves in exchange for "prizes", as long as people have no problem to do it there will be reality show for each and every unthinkable act.
The panel who will listen to the pleas of the participants include enterprenuer and author Candy Spelling, French-American poker player Vanessa Rousso, Pussycat Doll member Melody Thornton and Sean Patterson, president of Wilhelmina Models. The panelists will contribute their own finances and the amount starts at $2000
"This series is centered on the concept of innovative philanthropy," said Lisa Berger, executive vp programming at E! "We're giving real people the opportunity to garner life-changing sums of money and, at the same time, fulfilling our judges' desire to make a difference in the lives of others -- one person at a time.
"The panelists' big personalities and strong opinions, on top of requests that run the gamut from heartwarming to downright peculiar, are sure to keep things heated and always unpredictable."
