Rhianna's new single "Russian Roulette" stirred a lot of controversy

Some critics state that Rhianna's single is advocating suicide because some of the lyrical content. However people tend to forget that music is an art and a lot of the songs can be viewed as metaphoric. Her "Russian Roulette" can be perceived as having to make decisions in life and love that can equal to "Russian Roulette" which means taking risks and making decisions that can have life altering choices. I think people have lost the artistic touch of word play and the deeper meaning of words in music since so many records are nursery rhymes that six year olds could write, so it is understandable that people have no sense of imagination and everything needs to be spelled out.

The record is very artistic and Rhianna is not your typical R&B singer, she has evolved into a woman and a rockstar! Her music speaks it and the track fits the lyrics like the scenery in a movie. Russian Roulette is a great song and somewhat on the darker side on the line of her single "Murderer" which also was metaphorical as she compared her action as murdering her boyfriends heart by cheating on him.
